Rescue of Oyo School children: Minister Momoh Commends Tinubu, Makinde, Security Operatives

MINISTER ABUBAKAR MOMOH HAILS PRESIDENT TINUBU, OYO STATE GOVERNMENT, SECURITY AGENCIES ON RESCUE OF ABDUCTED OYO SCHOOLCHILDREN AND TEACHERS
The Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, has expressed profound joy over the successful rescue of the schoolchildren and teachers abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The Minister commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his steadfast leadership and commitment to the safety of Nigerians, while also appreciating the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, for the state’s collaboration with federal security agencies throughout the rescue efforts.
Engr. Momoh equally applauded the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Amotekun Corps and all other security operatives whose professionalism, courage and coordinated efforts ensured the safe return of the victims.
He congratulated the rescued children, their teachers and their families, describing their safe return as a victory for unity, collaboration and the resilience of Nigeria’s security institutions.
The Minister urged Nigerians to continue supporting security agencies with timely and credible information, reaffirming that the Federal Government under President Tinubu remains resolute in its commitment to protecting lives, securing communities and ensuring that every Nigerian child can learn in a safe environment.
