Ekiti Re-Elects Progress: Minister Abubakar Momoh Congratulates Governor Oyebanji On Historic Victory
The Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, on his re-election, describing the victory as a clear demonstration of the confidence and trust the people of Ekiti State have in his leadership.
In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday, the Minister noted that Governor Oyebanji’s impressive electoral victory reflects the people’s appreciation of his purposeful, inclusive, and development-driven administration.
According to Engr. Momoh, the outcome of the election further validates the growing acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda being championed by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the result serves as a strong endorsement of continuity, good governance, and sustainable development.
“Your re-election stands as a powerful testament to the trust and confidence the good people of Ekiti State have reposed in your visionary, purposeful, and people-centred leadership. It is also a reflection of the confidence Nigerians continue to place in the ideals and developmental objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the Minister stated.
Engr. Momoh also commended the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State for their unity, discipline, and commitment throughout the electoral process, noting that their collective efforts contributed significantly to the party’s success at the polls.
He further praised the people of Ekiti State for their peaceful conduct and active participation in the democratic process, describing the election as another important milestone in the consolidation of democratic governance in Nigeria.
