EID AL-ADHA: MINISTER OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT, ABUBAKAR MOMOH, FELICITATES MUSLIMS, CALLS FOR UNITY, PEACE AND NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria as they join millions of believers around the world in celebrating this year’s Eid al-Adha.

In a goodwill message released to the press, the Minister described Eid al-Adha as a sacred occasion that embodies the timeless virtues of faith, sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

According to him, the lessons of the season serve as a powerful reminder of the need for Nigerians to remain united, peaceful, and committed to the collective task of building a stronger and more prosperous nation.

Engr. Momoh urged citizens to embrace the spirit of love, tolerance, mutual understanding, and generosity towards one another, especially the less privileged, noting that national progress can only be achieved when citizens work together in harmony and shared purpose.

The Minister also called on Nigerians to continue praying for the peace, stability, and sustainable development of the country, while supporting the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in advancing policies and programmes aimed at improving the lives of citizens and strengthening the nation’s economy.

He expressed confidence in Nigeria’s future, emphasizing that with unity, resilience, and a shared commitment to national development, the country will continue to overcome its challenges and achieve greater progress.

Engr. Momoh wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous, and spiritually rewarding Eid al-Adha celebration and prayed that Allah accepts their sacrifices, answers their prayers, and blesses Nigeria with enduring peace, unity, and prosperity.
